It's so good to be ahead of fashions, gadgets, appliances, technos, etc. However, are these necessary for your growth - financially or as a person. I've learned from my mother how to value everything that have been bought from my hard earned income. I've learned to keep those things I can't used at the moment because you can later used those things unknowingly.

It is not just being thrifty, it is a proper management of income.
